ESU Public Speaking competition

On January 19th Pershore High School, as winners in 2016, was honoured to stage the Worcestershire Branch Final of the ESU – Churchill National Public Speaking competition for schools. Its representatives were Amara De Silva-Morgan (Questioner), Joseph Burfitt (Chair) and Jodie Young (Speaker). Jodie spoke on the topic, ‘Politicians deserve respect, agree with them or not’. Although the Pershore team was edged out by RGS Worcester, they performed with great distinction.
