GCHQ CyberFirst Challenge

The Pershore High School ‘A Team’ consisting of Milly Routledge, Lucy Innet, Ella Ramage and Alice Forson have got through to the Grand Finals of the above event. We feel incredibly proud of them given the complexity and difficulty of the challenges. The girls faced fierce competition from over 8,000 students with 2,100 teams competing. The competition was designed to inspire and encourage young girls to consider a career in the cyber industry. The challenges were spilt into the following topic areas: cryptography, networking, cyber security and logic & coding and became increasingly more challenging.

L to R: Milly, Ella, Lucy, Alice, Hannah Rhodes (Head of IT)

They are through to the Grand Final on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th March in London.
