Pershore High School Equestrian Team - Sunday 11th Sept

Sunday 11th September saw the Pershore High School Equestrian Team in action for the first time this year at Rectory Farm in Cirencester. We are now bigger than ever with 23 riders registered to compete in the team. The event was a show jumping competition and a Championship qualifier and so there were a massive amount of entries and competition was tough. We had more teams entered than ever before a special mention should go to Karus Robinson, Lottie Suckling, Mouse Robinson, Georgina Kilmister, Lily Elliot, Ellie Shuter, Ellie Brighton and Emily Cooper in their first event for the school. It was a long day but very worthwhile and the riders all did the school proud. Particular mention to;

The 70cm team of Georgina Kilmister, Erin Hobbs, Mouse Robinson and Lily Elliot who came 6th overall.

Mouse Robinson who came 4th out of 148 riders and qualified for the Plate championship in the 70cm class.

Lauren Carpenter who came 9th in 90cm class.

Sophie Rushton, Hannah Cartwright and Grace Plowman who came second in the 1.10m and qualified for the championships in October. Great credit is due to team manager and PHS teacher, Rachel Kilmister.
