ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR FOR PERSHORE HIGH SCHOOL GCSE STUDENTS

Pershore High School students have once again performed well in their GCSE examinations this summer. 72% of grades were awarded at 4+, 59% achieved 5 grades at 4+ and 20% achieved 7+ grades. The School’s Attainment 8 score is 46.2. Students have worked hard to attain these grades most of them in the more challenging reformed GCSEs.

Head teacher Phil Hanson says: "I am so pleased to congratulate our fabulous students on their GCSE results. They have been a very hardworking year group and this hard work has paid off with some excellent results. The new reformed GCSEs are significantly more challenging but our students have risen to that challenge and performed very well. I would like to pay tribute to all of their teachers who have supported the students so well and helped them to achieve their grades."
