PHS is awarded the International School Award (ISA) yet again

At a recent ceremony in London, Pershore High School was acknowledged as a national leader in the field of international activities for its students and gained re-accreditation for the period 2016-2019.

The school has been a recipient of the ISA for an unbroken period of 17 years now, dating back to the Award’s introduction in 1999. It has been reaccredited on five occasions and is one of only five schools nationally to have held the award for this period of time.

Head of Modern Languages and International Co-ordinator, Simon Kemp, is pictured receiving the award for Outstanding Development of the International Dimension in the Curriculum from Sir Ciaran Devane, Chief Executive of the British Council. Please see some pictures, the certificate and a detailed Press Release attached.

The school has also received a flag to mark this outstanding achievement and it is flying proudly on the school’s flagpole.
